About Us

Friends of the Theatre Townsville (FOTT) started out of the passion for performing arts in the region. When the Townsville Civic Theatre was built in 1978 FOTT became a familiar face selling cups of tea or coffee to the patrons with all the funding going back into the local performing arts scene.

“Building performing arts one cup at a time!”

  • one cup helps promote the future of performing arts in Townsville.

  • one cup can help us to provide bursaries to assists performing arts students with the ongoing costs of study.

  • one cup can help us provide financial donations to community groups or organisations to help with the costs of promoting the local talent we have on our doorstep.

  • one cup can help us buy equipment to assist local organisations to ensure a future for the local performers in our region.

  • one cup brings our volunteers new friends into our lives.

It just takes the purchase of one cup to make a huge difference to dance, music and theatre performers.

Grow as we grow with you.

The more money we raise the more we can assist with the developing local talent in our region.
